Level 6: Easy Peasy Decodable Reader – Jen and Bud (Short Vowel U) (OG)

This Easy Peasy Decodable Reader, from Lil' Reading Scientists Literacy Solutions TM, is called Jen and Bud, and contains all decodable short vowel words, and selective sight words that cannot be decoded (was, saw, said, to). This reader focuses on the Short Vowels, in a CVC pattern.

Print the reader on double sided gloss paper, for a nice durable finish, or print on regular paper and laminate, if desired. This reader is perfect for leveled reading, and for literacy centers. The reading level is appropriate for late kindergarten students, first grade students, and delayed second graders.

The reader is 14 pages long (7 sheets of paper), and includes comprehension questions and a word list.
